2010 Capital EX promises great entertainment and family fun

EDMONTON, AB – Ten days of summer fun and entertainment are on tap for this year's Capital EX, July 23 – August 1.
Northlands is excited to announce just a few of the entertainers that will headline Capital EX in 2010:
July 25 - Juno and Canadian Country Music Award (CCMA) Winner George Canyon with special guest and fellow CCMA Winner Gord Bamford.
July 26 – Edmonton's own Stereos with guest Down with Webster
July 30 - 2010 Group of the Year Juno Award Winner Metric with
guest Hot Hot Heat
These performers, along with several others to be announced in the next few weeks, will grace the TELUS Stage at Capital EX.
With construction of the Edmonton EXPO Centre now finished, the grounds have been redesigned to maximize the use of space and the various venues at Northlands for our guests.
The TELUS Stage will be reconfigured to provide a more intimate atmosphere allowing patrons to either sit and enjoy the show, or stand and rock out. Having our entertainment all on one stage, allows our guests easy and convenient access to the EXPO Centre, which will house Sip!, Shop Zone, Northwest Originals and expanded concessions and seating areas.
