Honey Harvesting – Ever wondered where honey comes from? Come and watch as we harvest from the Northlands Bee Hives. 9:30 a.m. 1:30 p.m.
Beekeeping – Learn tips and tricks to housing bees in your backyard. Everything from building a hive to caring for your bees. 10:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Urban Hens – Want to enjoy fresh eggs from your own backyard? Learn how you can be an urban chicken farmer and raise your very own eggs! 11:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Farming in Your Backyard – Learn about the opportunities to farm in your own backyard! 9 a.m. 1 p.m.

URBAN FARM TOURS

Pick a time and register!
Northlands presents “Urban Farm Tour” with presenter Lactuca Farms. See how we have transformed surplus urban space into a commercial farm right in the middle of the city. Open to the public. 9 a.m. 12:30 p.m. 4 p.m.

Rural Farm Bus Tours – $5 per person

9 a.m. Morning Tour – with visits to Horse Hill Berry Farm and Gold Forest Grains. (Limited spots available) Get Tickets

Jam Making Culinary Workshop – $41 per person (including all fees and taxes)

9 a.m. in the Hall H Kitchen. This 150-minute jam making workshop will include both traditional and freezer jams, and will also guide you through the process of creating your own unique flavours. Presented by Fruits of Sherbrooke. (Limited spots available) Get Tickets

Pickle Making Culinary Workshop – $41 per person (including all fees and taxes)

2:30 p.m. in the Hall H Kitchen. Learn how to create the perfect jar of pickles! Presented by Mojo Jojo Pickles & Preserves. (Limited spots available) Get Tickets

Northlands Prairie to Plate Dinner – $86 per person (including all fees and taxes)
