Northlands Park Endowment Fund – Alberta Colleges & Universities Awards

In the early 1980’s Northlands Park, then Edmonton Northlands, created an Endowment Fund with a $500,000 contribution from its share of Western Canada Lottery proceeds.  The funds were matched by the provincial government and awarded to two Alberta  universities and 11 Alberta colleges.

The following Alberta post secondary institutions are beneficiaries of the Northlands Park Endowment Fund:

• Northern Lights College – Grouard
• Portage College – Lac La Biche
• University of Alberta
• Northern Alberta Institute of Technology
• Fairview College
• Olds College
• Lakeland College
• Grant MacEwan Community College
• Keyano College
• Grande Prairie Regional College
• Red Deer College
• Athabasca College

Through the Northlands Park Endowment Fund, Northlands is trying to help build better communities in Northern Alberta.
